Mobile speed enforcement cameras are now active along Milltown Road and McKennans Church Road in New Castle County

  • Enforcement Start: Civil violations and tickets began on April 16, 2026, following a 30-day warning period that started on April 15.
  • Enforcement Zones: Cameras operate in two specific areas: Milltown Road between McKennans Church Road and Duncan Road, and McKennans Church Road between Milltown Road and Bardell Drive.
  • Penalties: These violations are civil penalties that do not add points to a driver's record or affect insurance rates, though criminal tickets issued by officers for the same offenses can carry points.

Kirkwood Gardens has a new board!

As the result of a meeting on February 19th 2026, about 25 of our neighbors and a few state representatives attended a meeting where the attending residents elected a new board. Congratulations to the new volunteers.

Dues

  • Please contribute dues which are currently $25/year.
  • Dues are used for snow plowing and common area grass cutting.
